Salmon & Brussels Sprouts

Last week I made this salmon recipe—which I’ve made before—and this brussels sprouts recipe—which I hadn’t.

I didn’t Google anything for this one, guys, but I should have!

Salmon — overdone, chewy

So, I’ve tried this recipe three times. The first time I made it, it turned out great, but the salmon fell apart a bit. The second time I made it, I think the pan was overcrowded (is that a thing?) so the salmon was not done but the sauce started to burn. This time, apparently I overcooked it. This was disappointing, because I’ve made salmon well plenty of times. Part of me wonders if it’s because I used frozen salmon fillets from Trader Joe’s and not fresh salmon this time?

This recipe is good, though. The flavor is great.

Brussels sprouts — overdone, mushy

These were mushy af. I love brussels sprouts, but I cannot get them to be crispy. Tell me how, people! Tips, I need tips!

Uncle Ben’s 90-SECOND Rice — perfect

Ruby’s review: “Good. You’re the best cooker ever.”
